Model Youth Justice Weekend

Are you a youth (secondary or post-secondary) who is passionate about Peace and Social Justice? Are you part of a youth group whose mission is to be the change you want to see in the world? Are you an adult who works with amazing youth and strives to support them in their quest for a more just society? Join like-minded people for a weekend idea exchange on August 7-9, 2026 at Hidden Acres Retreat Centre Individual youth and adults welcome. Youth Groups welcome. Some shared rides may be available once you are registered.

Cost

We don’t want finances to be a barrier to participation. The actual cost per person of accommodation, food and program is $320. We are asking each participant to contribute $100, with the rest subsidized by Camp Micah. Registration will give options to provide additional support to the program or to request a bursary.

Schedule

Friday evening check-in at 6:00 PM. You are encouraged to bring a snack for sharing. Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner provided by Hidden Acres. We’ll share in dishes. Sunday breakfast and lunch are provided also. Departure Sunday at 2:00 PM

Our Location

Hidden Acres Camp

Hidden Acres can accommodate up to 100 people. All youth and adults who work with them are welcome to join us August 7-9, 2026!

In addition to multiple indoor spaces, the camp has outdoor trails, a spring fed pond, and a variety of sports and games.

Camp Details

  • Accommodations will be shared. You will be asked to specify if you want to stay in an all-female, all-male or gender non-specific room.

  • Food needs and allergies will always be accommodated.

    You will have an opportunity to let us know your dietary needs during registration.

  • We hope that participants will be able to find their own way to camp.

    We will try to help you find a carpool option if you are not able to get yourself to or home from camp.
